Awhinatia Te Wero

yesterday we were doing some some science with Awhinatai te wero there basically a science moari group that comes from a museum

and they came here to teach us about harakiki. Hey told us that not every science group needs fancy equipment we used a potato that was cut in the middle a razor and a brush and harakiki we used a microscope to zoom in on the harakiki i have forgotten another material that we have used we have also learned how to make a solar panel with a special kind of glass we also need machines to tell us if we are getting any or not If you are in some shade it will go minus if you are in the sun It will go up the highest Michael got to was 500 and 4 we also did a weight test in the morning We put two buckets of water some weights and the teachers finger hey pulled it so hard pause and then it break because we pulled it the final race was 28 kgs thats all for now

Why I Think That The Beach Is Better Than The Pool

we have been doing stuff about the beach and the pool and I learned that the sea water in the pool can heal your injuries and some illnesses i learned that this writing needs an introduction a body is information and a conclusion for me the conclusion was the easiest one to write and I i enjoyed writing it out

Kapa Haka At The Palms

Kia Ora, yesterday on the 27th of June, 2023 we performed at The Palms we sang  songs such as Nga Iwi E and then we did Tiriro mai and then we did the Haka. I did really bad and the last song we did was Matiriki. I think we all did so good our teachers  got a little gift Atamai and Aukaha are the best when it comes  to haka Another school  were singing before us and  we were so much louder than the other school. My friend actually lost he’s voice.

My basic facts

Today on my basic facts I have done my 8x and now I am onto my 11x i am going to practise by doing flash cards on the times tables or basic facts i finished my 8 in 1:57 am I got 23 out of 24 right that’s enough to pass

Waste

This term we have been learning about pollution and the effects it has on our environment. I have worked on a whale essay I made up a google doc and has whale facts on it my favourite part of this task was making it the scary story and I love the facts I am looking forward to our trips to save the sand dunes and waste management at sock burn metro
